Upgrades in Cookie Clicker

In Cookie Clicker, upgrades play an important role, helping you maximize the amount of cookies produced. Each type of building has its own upgrades:

• Steel-plated rolling pins: When purchasing this upgrade, Grandma will be twice as effective.
• Ambidextrous: Doubles the effectiveness of the mouse and cursor.
• Cheap hoes: Makes your Farm produce cookies twice as fast.
• Sugar gas: Doubles your Mine's mining speed.

Other upgrades are also gradually unlocked when you own enough buildings or reach certain cookie milestones. The longer you play, the more unique features and upgrades you unlock.

• Focus on upgrading your Mouse and Cursor first: In the early stages, when cookies are low, manual clicking is your main source of supply. Investing in upgrading your mouse and cursor will help you quickly increase your cookie accumulation speed.
• Balance between buying buildings and upgrading: Don't just buy buildings and ignore upgrades, or only focus on upgrading without buying more buildings. Find the best ratio according to your cookie growth speed.
• Prioritize x2 production upgrades: Upgrades like Steel-plated rolling pins, Ambidextrous, Cheap hoes, Sugar gas… double the output. This is the fastest way to improve your cookie supply in a short time.
